Cramping and abdominal pain

I am 21 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have been having mild to severe cramping in my lower abdomen, right under my belly and predominantly on my right side for over three weeks now. The pain comes and goes and has sometimes felt like a shooting or stabbing pain (especially when I switch positions at night). I have been having diarrhea on and off and have had an unusually large amount of watery, yellow discharge the entire time. I have noticed that it hurts worse right at the end of urination. I am also having the pain in the middle part of my back right under my ribs and all the way down to my groin area. I have spoken with my Dr. about this several times but he has yet to examine me once. He last told me it was just round ligament pain and not to worry. He did do a urine culture and said that everything came back fine, but that was it. I am starting to worry it is something more serious than just the stretching of my muscles. Any ideas??

Thanks Isal11...I was worried about a UTI as well, but it doesn't hurt like one. It's more of a cramping pain in my bladder after I pee...not a stinging like you'd get with a UTI. I have heard though that UTI's can go undetected, even after a test came back normal. I have an apt. on Thursday, but I'm tempted to get a second opinion.

it could just be a UTI if it hurts when you pee. i've had that before. ask the doc to check you again for a urine infection. if he says it's all good then it probably is just your uterus stretching. i haven't carried a pregnancy that long, but i did have a lot of cramps when i was preg
