Cramps.

I am 35 weeks and every since about Sunday night I have been having cramping and sharp pains in my abdomen and back. I drink plenty of water each day so I doubt it's dehydration. They are on again off again pains that last about maybe 2-3 hours I called my doctor the other day and they told me to drink water and rest well today I noticed the pains are coming back again. It's this a sign of labor? I really dont want to go to L&D to get sent home because it's about a 35-40 min drive.

I went in around 32 weeks for having contractions they weren't strong enough to make me dilate or progress so I got sent home. My doctor told me that if I were to get the contractions again they wouldn't stop them when I turned 35 weeks.

I'm 39 weeks and not dilated at all and 0% effective which doesn't surprise me since I was the same at 41 weeks with my son. But I've been having pain the past week too I'm just riding it out for 5 more sleeps until she is here, I also have an hour and 15 min drive to hospital. Good luck.

With my first it happened a lot and I went to the er. It ended up being contractions because of dehydration sk they put me on an iv and gave me fluids and then gave me medicine in the iv to stop the contractions

Same thing was happening to me. I ended up going to my checkup and was told I was 3cm dilated so they sent me to L&D. There was no progression so I was sent home. Just a waiting game now
