Cyst burst?

Okay I'm mainly posting this here because I heard someone mention that cysts can burst and that it hurts. Can anyone elaborate on what that feels like? I saw some EWCM (YAY) today... the first time in over a year. And my right ovary HURTS. It feels like someone is squeezing it like a lemon for lemon juice or something. I especially feel it when I walk. It doesn't help that I feel extremely nauseated and ill today.

So do you guys think this MAY be a cyst bursting or just ovulation? Hopefully ovulation because we BDing like rabbits!

Hey I had a few cysts burst in the past. The first one that had burst was very uncomfortable. It felt like really bad menstural cramps but they never went away. The doctor actually just gave me some pain meds and the pain did go away.  The second time I actually had it rupture but my body never rejected the fluids they sat in my abdomen for a few days and caused a small infection.... All the pain I expieranced was like menstural cramps though...

i have 2 cysts on my left ovary...hemorhagic(SP) cysts.....thats means they would grow, and then exentually rupture and bleed in itself, and then eventually disappear.  The first time i had one I had a dull ache on my left side for a few weeks, and had some symptoms of pregnancy, took tests , all neg so wasnt sure what was going on.  Well, I got up at 4am to pee one morning, I peed and then right after I felt like someone had taken a knife and ltierally stabbed me in my lower half.  i can honestly say the pain i had that night was the same or worse than bad labor.  i thought I was dying I had no idea what could cause pain like that.  I couldnt stand.  I was visitn my parents at the time so I cralwed into my moms bedroom and my dad took me to the ER where they found the cyst.   The second time was similiar but the pain wasnt AS bad...pretty painful but not unbearable the way the first was...the cyst was smaller that time though.

The pain your desrcibing though sounds like the pain I get when I ovulate.  it is pretty painful for a little while, when its at its worst sometimes I couldnt even stand up completely straight!  I got REALLY bad ovulation pains back in DEC and ended up with my BFP in Jan

I had a cyst burst last year. I had pain for a few days like ovulation maybe just a little bit more pain then one day when my lower back hurt really bad and I felt like someone was kicking me in the kidney.  It was VERY painful and I couldn't walk.

I hope that your pain is due to ovulation and you get your bfp soon

i thought that when cysts burst you will usually see some reddish/brownish blood like discharge?  are you having that?  if not then you probably or just O'ing.  I am starting the BD myself this Thursday in hopes that in a few weeks i will have my BFP.  Good luck
