Cyst when pregnant

I am 6w1d pregnant and had my first ultrasound today. Everything looks perfect but I do have a cyst on the ovary from which I ovulated. When I was pregnant 5 years ago I had a cyst and then when I miscarried it went away.  Has anyone had a cyst throughout pregnancy? My doctor isn't worried and just wants to watch it but I'm still nervous. Any experiences?

I went in for an Ultra Sound on Friday due to some pain in my left ovarie and the Dr. was able to determen that i had a normal pregnancy. It was to early to see the baby though!

Having pain on my right side. I am 20 days post ovulation. Dr. did ultra sound today and said it is probably an ectopic pregnancy. He also said that he could  not be 100% sure and that it could just be a cyst. He saw something very small in my uterus, but again was not sure if it was the pregnancy. He also did not spend much time determining what he saw in my uterus and his uncertainty was not reassuring either way. My last hcg level was 110 and he says that it is rising nicely, but it is too early to tell what we are looking at on ultra sound. HCg level was repeated today, but I have not gotten the results yet. Now that I am completely worried, what is the likelihood the growth on my ovary is a cyst or an ectopic pregnancy? We have been trying for years and just went through a miscarriage two months ago. I have none of the risk factors for ectopic pregnancy, but not sure how much that may affect this. Ultra sound is being repeated in two days. Will they be able to see any changes to make a determination? Why would an ectopic and a cyst be confusing to a specialist? Do they look that much alike?

HI Im 6w2d pregnant also and i have a cyst on my right ovary and i have been having a little pain. I going to have my 1st ultrasound thursday.

Believe it or not, I have 7 cysts on my right ovary!!  It happened as a result of the fertility meds I had to take to get preggo.  My Dr. isn't concerned about it and said that more than likely it will be gone by the end of the 1st trimester.

I had an ovarian cyst that too was detected when i was 6 weeks pregnant. The doctor monitors it to make sure its shrinking. Mine shrank and I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby. My sister also had an ovarian cyst and she too had a healthy baby full term. No need to worry
