Seriously, I think you should call your doctor and tell them that you got a positive test and haven't had a period yet. The only way to know if it's a new pregnancy is to get your blood drawn and your hcg levels checked every 48 hrs to see if they're doubling. I had a d&c on sept 13th, I got my period again 5 or 6 weeks later. Depending how far along you were it could take up to 6 wks for the hcg to get out of your system. Good luck!
i had a dnc on the 24th of jan and took a hpt a wk and a half later and it was neg. i have been using opk kits. i did get what i think was a positive opk, today. i cant say for sure if af has came yet as its only been since the 24th of jan. i did have a extremly light spotting from feb8-11 but not enough to consider and flow im very confused any help would be great...
There is two possibilities.. It is a new pregnancy..... or there is retained product.. retained product can cause your lvls to drop slower... 6800 is pretty high still so it could very much be a new pregnancy..
When I had retained product, i was testing positive but my lvls were stuck around 50... they started off at 5000 before my d&c..
