D&C Post Op.

What do they do at the D&C post op? I have mine tomorrow, 7 weeks after the D&C. Do they do an internal exam, or just see if you have had a period? I hate not knowing what to expect from drs appts. and my doctor is super scattered so I want to know exactly what should be done, and make sure it is.

My follow up appt. was 3 weeks after my D&C.  My OB-GYN did a pelvic exam, but I did not have another blood test.  I made a list of questions I wanted to ask and I thought that was helpful.  Good luck, Crysi!

I had my post op 2 weeks later and he did a pelvic exam to make sure my uterus was back to normal and just told me what to expect in the next few weeks.

I had mine 2weeks after, and my dr. didnt do anything. He said if I dont get a period with in 8weeks posted op to come in......So if you havent had one, they might do something....Every dr. is differnet......

they should do an exam, and take your blood to check and see where your hcg levels are, thats what they did with me anyways, but every dr is different
