December moms--back pain?

Ok so I'm due on Christmas, scheduled csection. Everything has been so great the past few weeks. Sometimes I honestly forget that I'm pregnant, until I feel my little girl rolling like crazy lol. I've felt perfectly fine all day today. At 12:45am I decided to mop my 4year olds room..and then ended up mopping my room, bathrooms, hall way, and my kitchen. I'm just now laying down and it's 2am, and all the sudden I have this awful sharp pain in my lower back/upper butt and also where I got the epidural 4yrs ago. I already took some Tylenol but when I lay down it really hurts =/ Is there anything that I can do to help this??

I do the same thing!!:P Yeah. Its a major nerve in your back that goes into your butt and down the leg. You could mention it. It gets so bad some nights I can't walk or turn over. Like you its more on my butt and down my leg. It all depends on the day!

I do flat on my back with my feet up, it helps immensly with my pain. I just recently remembered i had a heating pad.

Alibby13, I've never heard of that! It sounds scary lol. Should I mention it to my doctor? I tried showing my husband where the pain is and he says it's more of my butt than my back. I probably did over do it today. I just get in some sort of cleaning trans and can't stop until my house is spotless lol

Oooo really?? Do you lay on your back with feet propped up or on your side? Seems like every way I lay makes it hurt more. But I'm so glad you mentioned a heating pad! I totally forgot I had one lol. My uterus is tilted so my little girl stays more towards my back until my uterus shifts forward, which should be about 30 weeks. Ugh, I just hate back pain!

Im due the 24th. I get it all the time especially when i lay down. My doc says its sciatic issues. That would explain it going down your butt. Just take it easy you can over work yourself so easily. I did yard work yesterday and today I felt like I got hit by a train! Lol

Im due the 27th of December and i have constant back pain,  mainly because little man sits against it all day, i usually lir down with a heat pad and my legs propped up really high, like higher than my chest and it helps after a half hour or so. I get my pain in the same general area as you do.
