Decidual Bleeding??? Does it effect a pregnancy test???

I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms for the past 6 weeks but I got my menstrual cycle (lighter than usual). I took a hpt, BFN. My mother experienced something similar with my brother, She didnt find out she was pregnant until she was 7 months pregnant. I am very concerned. My question is could it be decidual bleeding affecting the urine test (hpt)....or am I just a bit delusional. My hubby and I have been TTC since June of this year. Please help? Tell me if u know anyone who has had decidual bleeding and false negatives? Only those with experience or know someone who had a similar situation need to answer.

At 6 weeks pregnant your test would be accurate, your mum must have used really bad tests to not find out till 7months,HCG would be really high at that stage.you will find most women here are very experienced when it comes to parent hood.any bleeding in pregnancy would still show a positve.my advice to you would be ask your doctor for a blood test this is 100% accurate.exspecially for 6 weeks.
