Depo Provera Question

I've been on depo provera for 15 years and my periods stopped right away.  I'm 45 years old and just had a period that lasted 5 days.  My question is whether or not depo provera is still working as my birth control choice?  Is there a way to know if depo provera is no longer working and if I may get pregnant?  Thank you

I stopped taking it because I started bleeding on it. Did you talk to your doctor? I was on it for 5 years abd I had no problem getting pregnant when I was ready a could years after I  stopped taking it.

I heard when youre on the depo for years that it takes alot of years to get pregnant ..like i got it for once for three months and i after i stop it and i got pregnant 6months later
