Diated at 31wks

Has anyone else dilated at 31wks. Because of severe dehydration I started having contractions and they checked my cervix and I was at 1cm. Contractions stopped when I got fluid but I didn't know you could dilate this early

I got dehydrated with me 1st at 25 weeks and contractions were stopped...with my 2nd I was dialated to 2 from 32 weeks on and had her 1 day early...relax and put your feet up. oh...and drink that water!!!

Being dehydrated can make u have contractions

With my second daughter I was 2 cm dilated at 33 weeks & went into labour at 39.3! Try not to worry its pretty normal.

Its common to start dilating a month or two before baby is born. A friend of mine dilated to 2 cm and then sat there for 6 weeks and ended up going 5 days past her due date.

I'm almost 31 Weeks and I did the same with this baby and with my first son. Stay hydrated and try to rest as much as you can. If they got it stopped you should okay. With my first son.i did this a couple times they stopped it and he didn't come until full term. Good luck :-)
