Discharge/infection ?

Okay, so twice now I've been told I have bacterial vaginosis.. So I was taking antibiotics for them, and this most recent time I was horrible about taking the pills because they were making me very sick. The very first time they told me I had it, was my first appt. actually. =/  and, the next day, I could most deffinitely tell, lots of discolored discharge with an odor to it.. Well the second time was during my colposcopy he just says "well you've got some discharge here and we'll send that off to be looked at" called me the next day and said the same thing.. And that was the time I didn't finish the meds or take them properly. [the first time i did as i was told] He told me at the most recent appt, where they did no pelvic exam or anything, to call in if I notice any discharge.. Well, I know that it is also common and normal to experience discharge during pregnancy because I've read it everywhere. plus I had moderate amounts of it pre-pregnancy as well. I almost want to just believe what's in my head that there was never even an infection [I know how crazy that sounds, he's the doctor, but, I never noticed any difference, and now I have no way of knowing] I don't even really want to be told I have one again to be put on some meds that make me sick and most likely don't work since they didn't last time. and end up having to pay the 10.. 15 whatever dollars for them. So now I have no way, I don't know if I have it or not!!  One day and one day only, I had a lot of itching, but it was after intercourse and I figured it was from sweat, because after that, it went away, and since then I've experienced no problems. A day or two, had more discharge than usual, but everything seems normal now.
Don't know if it is neccesary to call the doc??

No, no smell at all. i'm very familiar with what to look for, and i always read up on things... i have had no smell at all.. once or twice i can recall a very faint almost like, bread, semi-sweet bitter smell, hard to describe. I know the smell changes a lot, i'm familiar with that and why.. just, i have not had any bad smells. and the pain during intercourse, well seems like since i've been pregnant i get that sometimes.. so i dont know to go by that either. but i mean other than that, no.. no signs of it. like i said, a couple days there was a bit more than usual but now, no... i havent noticed anything. but all he said was 'if i noticed discharge' which is so vague, not to mention it's pretty normal in the first place...  but thanks. i guess i won't go unless i notice something's up.

but was the discharge whitishe greyish watery like and after sex did the room smell really fishy those are signs as well as the swollen labia after sex, and pain during intercourse , redness of the vagina, but the fishy smell is a tell tell sign. if its not smelling and if there isnt alot of dicharge then you might not have an infection i went to ob/gyn becuase i thought i hgad a bv infection the y actually have a lab where they look under the microscope and do a whjiff test with koa solution and give a rapid test as well as the culture. and i went in thinking i had it like last year snd she came ack told me she didnt smell anything there was bv.at all. i had a smell and she said that is somwetimes normal to smeall differently down there so know i know what to expect and i go every year 2 times a year for a pap smear just incase and i havent had since last year thank GOD.
