Doctor cannot answer my questions

I had spoke with you a week or so ago and wanted to give an update. I was so sick this past week that I could not eat or drink for 4 days Sunday and Monday I spent my day at the ER for uncontrolled nausea and vomiting. They ran every kind of test possible and found nothing. I have a green discharge with no Zofran for nausea and vomiting but if I try to stop taking it I become very sick again. My preg test is still positive but the ER Doctors both told me to have an ultrasound done asap to make sure things r in place, What does that mean? So I call my OB doc and the receptionist told me everything sounded fine because I had no infection or STDs so she would not schedule me for an ultrasound. Has anyone experienced any of my symptoms?  I have lower back ache on one side of my spine, stomach pain, and persistent vomiting, chills with no fever, a green discharge, and a thick tissue type white discharge. None of this seems normal to me I just don't feel good. Anything you have to say will help I promise.

Update, sad to say that I have had a missed abortion. I developed a healthy fetal sac and placenta but their is no  fetal pole. I received a neg pregnancy test Saturday. I go back to the doctor Monday to have another ultrasound done to see if over a week will change anything for a positive preg test. I asked my doctor today how do you get a positive 3 weeks ago and then a positive 2 weeks later, then a negative this past Saturday and today, and leave hope for a positive. I have had a hard time dealing with it, but I have a great support team. Just wanted to give you all an update.

"I had a real bad period about a month ago and for 2 days I passed a grey tissue type substance then for another 3 days I had a lot of blood clots"

Does your OBGYN know about this?  This is something significant that they need to know about.

I agree with you in that some of your symptoms are not really "normal" during pregnancy (green discharge, and your pain levels).  I would suggest you call your doctors office again and ask to speak to a nurse or leave a message with your doctor explaining everything that has happened in the last month.  Tell them you passed tissue w/ clots a month ago, have detectable HCG levels and are in severe pain and experiencing green discharge and ER doctors recommended an urgent ultrasound.  Its important to talk to a medical professional and not a receptionist.  If you dont have any success, you need to seek a 2nd opinion even if that means driving 1h to another facility.

I hope you get some answers soon and start to feel better soon.

Yes they ran STD test, stool sample, pelvic exam, but the hospital I went to did not do an ultrasound. I had no STDs and no infection and no yeast. everything looked good but I am in pain and have to take something for nausea so I can eat and drink. I am about 3 weeks to a month from what the doc guessed from my HCG levels. Other than that I have not felt good, I have 2 other children and I know that all pregnancies are different but I have never felt this bad even when I was preg with the flu or the time I was preg and got food poisoning. The only other thing that I think may be causing some probs is I had a real bad period about a month ago and for 2 days I passed a grey tissue type substance then for another 3 days I had a lot of blood clots, never thought I was preg just thought it was a weird period. It has been a crazy few weeks..Thank you for your concern

Vomiting and cramping can be normal in pg. As well as increased discharge. What would worry me is if the pain is more than mild to annoying cramping, and the green discharge.
I agree that they should have done an u/s in the ER.
I think you have every right to be concerned and I would voice that to your Dr., Demand to speak with the nurse or the Dr. as opposed to the receptionist. If they still will not work with you I would look for another OB. Or maybe even return to the ER and see if they will do an u/s there since your Dr. won't.
Did they check you for an infection? Run a culture on the discharge? Or (not to scare you but) have they done an u/s with your stomach pain to rule out an eptopic pg?
I really do hope that you start feeling better soon and get some answers. Please keep us updated.
