Does Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark cream work?

My mother in law gave me a bottle of cocoa butter stretch mark cream & said it will prevent stretch marks. Have any of you used it & didn't get any stretch marks or did you get a lot or a few?

Just wanted to say all you ladies are correct. It drives me insane when people say they didn't get stretch marks because they used this or that or they are going to start using something to get rid of the marks. Like all of you have said.. they are hereditary & either you get them or you don't. & if you DO get them there isn't anything you can do to make them go away. Over time they Will fade & honestly that is your only option.  Good luck though. Hopefully You don't get any.  :)

Yes it helps with the itchiness, but not the stretch marks. I had my daughter when I was 14 and I'm now 18 and 30 weeks pregnant I got them on my belly, back, legs, arms, and boobs. Sadly the ONLY time my SO sees me naked is in the shower. :\

It helps with the itchiness that youll get with your belly growing but not with stretch marks the only way ive found to help prevent stretch marks is watching your weight gain

Agree with the ladys above. I also tried that stuff w my first child and stopped cuz it stunk to me. But other then that i dont lotion, and dont have stretch marks. The only time i do lotion is if my skin is dry

It's all in your genes. I've never gotten one, not even a little one and im 38+1. But that's because my mother never got one, nor did my grandmother. Good luck.

There is no way of preventing stretch marks they are hereditary, either your going to get them or your lucky and you won't!! I have them all the way around my belly!!

It won't prevent them! I used it on my butt like crazy, and that ended up being the only place I got them lol.
