Dr said it was a boy but not 100% sure

I am 18 weeks & the Dr said he would take a peek to see if we could tell if baby was a boy or girl. I alreday have two boys so I've been praying for a little girl. He said he thought it was a BOY but not a 100% sure because he is not a ultrasound tech. I have to go back in 2 weeks to have another ultrasound for measurements. Has anyone ever had this experience? My GF had the same thing told to her by this Dr at 18 weeks and went back 3 weeks later and it was a girl!

Did you see the "boy parts" it was VERY obvious to us that my son was a boy, but then again I had SEVERAL u/s due to being high risk. They have always been right with my babies (so far), but then again I have 2 friends that were told they were having boys and ended up with little girls! So I don't think I would go out and buy everything blue just yet, but thats just me.
Did you get a pic? I think there is a website where you can post your u/s pics and get the opinion of u/s techs and Dr's. I can't think of the name of it right now, but maybe you could find it if you googled.
Let us know how the next u/s goes!

My ultrasound tech said to me I can never give anyone 100% but there is the penis.  So i wouldn't think to far into them not being able to tell you 100%

Most OB's wont ever say they are 100 percent sure, no matter how sure they are.

Plenty of women are told the gender is not 100%. Hopefully you can find out in two weeks!!!
