Hi, I just found out I'm pregnant with my second and am debating between going with a midwife vs a dr. I had a midwife with my first and she was great but am thinking I may want to go with a dr this time. Has anyone had both and prefer one to the other? A little help or insight would be great!
I found a clinic with a consulting OB and a team of certified nurse midwives, so it's got the best of both! I asked a similar question when I first got my bfp, and many told me it was a matter of personal preference. You're allowed to look around and even interview different facilities and their philosophies to see if they match what you want out of the experience. Good luck :]
I have 3 children and I had a doctor with all 3. I never had a midwife although I have heard great things. I would stick with whatever you are most comfortable with. You could try and doctor and if its not something that you like you can always switch back.
i had a midwife with my first up until 6months my sis was 2 months pregnant ahead of me and after watching this so called midwife help her give birth anything and everything went wrong when the time came for my sister to give birth the midwife was aggressive and told my sister that she is wasting her time she had other mothers to attend to i was not impressed and later investigated her finding out that she had a 10% liking to her name and the others were either suing her or wanting their money back with her mistake my nephew was in HICU for 2weeks from the complications all i say is go with a DR i dont trust midwives
