EMpty sac

This is my second pregnancy. I lost one because a blightem ovum. Last friday I went to my appointment and the dr. said the sac is empty but they are considering I ovulated late. My last menstruation was on March 8.. I had intercourse on 19, 20, 22, 23.. is it possible I have only 5 weeks and for that reason they can not see the embrion? is it too early? My hcg were fine until the last day they took it.. Do I  have still chances to have my baby?

A repeat ultrasound in one week should show at least a yolk sac.  If it is still an empty gestational sac, it is possibly another blighted ovum.  The chances of one person having 2 blighted ovums in a row are slim, but it definitely happens!  You can definitely be earlier than you think you are, but if you are absolutely positive of when you ovulated (if you were using opk's and monitoring your ovulation by other means), then I would trust the dates.  Go to misdiagnosedmiscarriage . com.  There are stories of all kinds of women who didn't see their babies until much later in the game.  There is hope.  Don't get too hung up on your hcg levels, but as a general rule of thumb, if they are going down, then you will likely miscarry.  Best of luck to you.

i agree with Katsmommy- you could just be earlier than you think.  When is your next appointment?  i would ask the doctor to keep taking your hcg levels also.

yes you do still have a chance, like you said you may just be to early for them to see the baby,if your hcg levels go up then you should be ok but if by chance they go down then of course you know that is not a good thing, well i will pray for you and hope everything is ok keep us posted.
