Early Labor/Prodromal labor

OK so I had my last Progesterone shot at 31 weeks and it lasted for a week then I went into labor at 32 weeks. COntractions every 5 min for over 12 hours then all the sudden they stopped. I dialated to a 1-2 and 50% effaced. Then two weeks later I do it again but this time I bleed, throw up and have diarreha (sorry tmi) COntractions go from my top of my uterus to the bottom and push down and then go almost to my back and my legs get heavy. Now they were hard enough to make me stop and have to concentrate on them and not notice hwat was going on around me durnig them. I woke my DH up after 2 hours of this being 3 min apart. We have a 3 hours drive to the hospital. They did not change with position or anything. When I got to the hospital I was 2-3 kinda very soft and still 50%. They stayed 3 min apart the whole way there and at the hospital for over 5 hours then sl;owe down when I was getting frustrated about being kept in bed on the monitor. MY doctor instead of the house dr had to say I could walk. Even though I kept getting up to go to the bathroom:) Then they spread out and I got moved to antipartum and stayed there for 4 days:( After 2 days my dr decided to strech my cervix and I guess sweep my membranes to help see if that would stir things up more. The contractions at that point were like 12-more then 20 every hour but not the same strength nor regular. Then I had smoe bloody mucus from what he did and I was given a pass to the mall to walk. He could not really induce me still yet as I am not "full term" yet. They did check though and the babies lungs are developed from what they can see how he is breathing on us. I did get steriod shots and he was over 6lbs already.

So anyway, I am contracting every 10 min now fsince the mornign I left the hospital and still nothing! I did get checked before I left well the night before and was 3 1/2cm and 70-80% and the nurse said my cervix felt like jello and just would move all over the place when she would try to see what I was. So from what I read prodromal lbaor does not change you so my dr says I am in early labor but this has been going on for weeks now. I am so tired and they wake me up still every one, I have so much pressure as he is a station -1 to 0. I would think something would just give!!!!!! I am now 35 weeks and this is my 5th one, but it has been 9 years almost since I had my last one.

Anyone ever do this? Any suggestions? I am using evening primrose oil on my cerivx, and yes my high risk OB said that it will not harm the baby at all and just help my cervix. I am worried I will go fast once I get to 5cm or get to active labor and the contractions are actually harder to really work on me. I want to make it to the hospital!!! I am very depressed but also excited. At the same time I feel like I will be pregnant forever and the excitment of it finally happening seems far to me. DH also keeps saying I am not in labor and gets upset when I cry and id not want to leave the hospital yesterday. He kept saying "Your not in labor" and "You'll be fine" I cried so hard and he does not understand me at all nor does he understand I am in labor but just that the contractions are only strong enought to slowly do something. ughhhh!!!!

I really wish I had some advice for you but I don't.  I did want to say that I'm very sorry you are going through this. I know it's hard physically and mentally and it seems like its going to last forever but the good news is it won't. Just hang in there, before you know it you will be holding your little one.

I wanted to say htough that DH is helpful just has no clue of waht is normal or really understands but he did hug me when I cried. Men just really don't get it and never will even though how hard they try I think, and they feel helpless when they can't be the knight in shinning armor!
