Early Pregnancy and Pain during intercourse

This is my third pregnancy, and I am 7 weeks along.  Since week 6, when my husband and I have sexual intercourse, I have deep internal pain on my right side (with deep penetration).  I know I had an ovarion cyst on that side before I got pregnant, but my doctor said it was small and that it should resolve on its own.  Any thoughts on what this could be?  I only have pain during sex and have no bleeding.

Sexual intercourse is safe any time during pregnancy unless you are high risk (your doc would know and let you know) or if it is uncomfortable for you. Try getting on top so you control the depth of penetration. And always make sure you keep your doc informed so they can check on that cyst!

You should not have intercourse very often for the first semester. The uterus is very sensitive and with deep penetration sometimes is not good. That is why you have pain.My Re told me not to have intercouse at all. So just take it easy and try not to do it everyday.

I'm not pregnant...but hoping to be...but I experienced the same thing all last weekend. My dr told me it was because I was ovulating and the pain can last up to three days. But since you're already pregnant I would just "guess" that it's because everything is getting situated and maybe you're just extra tender in the tummy right now. Try not having intercourse for two nights. If that doesn't help call the nurse....good luck!!
