FINALLY Kicks on the outside!!! WOOT
Ok, so I'm exactly 25 weeks and 2 days pregnant. and the last 2 days or so I'd feel twitches up near my ribs and think they were "muscle twitches"... simply because they feel nothing like kicks I get in the lower stomach.
But today as I was laying on my back on the couch with my hand on my upper tummy watching tv... I felt 2 kicks in the same place!! right under my ribs! I KNOW it was him, because I've felt kicks there (inside) about 8-10 times since.. it was awesome to feel that twitch on my hand.
I can't wait for DH to feel!... Now I'm thinking the reason I don't feel it in the lower stomach is because of the xtra padding I have there. Hopefully it'll get to the point where most of his kicks are felt on the outside.
Oh, and I had the TV remote laying on my upper stomach, as I was on the phone with my mom... I wasn't talking and noticed it Rocking back and forth for about 2 seconds... I went still, and tried to see if it was my heartbeat doing it.. Nope it was TYLER!!!!!!!!!! I started giggling and when my mom asked what it was. I told her what happened and she laughed about it... WOOT!!!!!!!!!

Yay! Congrats! I know how excited you have been about feeling those! Little tj is already making his mumma proud. My little one has just graduated into kicks that can hurt which is not quite a fun but still appreciated. How far along are you now? 25wks?
Riot, your lucky! lol. Today, when I went to work, my friend Crystal (I have 2 named crystal, one my age one older) the older friend told me my tummy was lopsided.. turns out the baby was on the Right side. lol,
Then this afternoon I was getting kicks near my rib's, real high up and I felt one on the outside so I asked my other friend Crystal (my age) if she wanted to try and feel... So she sticks her hand on my stomach and about 5 seconds later the baby KICKED her hard!
She was suprised and said that it was a hard kick for him just starting to kick enough to be felt... so finally someone other than me felt it! Now I've gotta wait for him to kick hard enough for Daddy to feel it!
Oh... and I know how you feel about the belly button thing... I can no longer see the fairy on my hip! I've gotta push my boob and tummy out of the way!

I've been able to feel her on the outside since I think when I started approaching my 21st week.
Now I'm 22w5d and I get atleast 2-3 GOOD ones that I can either feel, or Josh, or the people I live with can actually SEE on the outsidea day.
I've yet to see my belly move like that cuz she likes to kick low and I can't see past my belly button anymore.

But I'm sure I will soon.

Well I figure if he continues with his kicks as he did when it started (1-2 a day up to about 30-more) then I'm sure I'm gonna feel it outside more and maybe enough to let DH feel it in the next week or two!

Congratz. it is a wonderful feeeling. I remember when I felt my first kicks and now I am getting ready to meet my little man..... Wow how time flies... Best Wishes
Woohoo! Isn't it great? Once I started feeling the kicks/punches from the outside, within weeks I could feel her actually rolling around in there too (you feel the little bumps and lumps from the elbows and feet and head)! The tricky thing now is getting her to do it for your DH... she always stopped doing it once I got him to put his hand on my belly. Very cool.
