FTM with no answers!
I'm 33 week's tomorrow, and since about 23 week's or so my baby has been messuring big and they said my placenta is on the low side. Well when they first told me this they said I have a chance of c-section. At my last apt we we're supposed to go over my ultra sound results but when my doctor looked at the results she got a weird look on her face and said to watch for pain and spotting and to take it easy. I asked how my results we're and she just said they're scheduling me another ultra sound. I go in tomorrow to make the apt and have a check up but should I be worried? Have any of you been through this?
The lady I met with today confirmed I have placenta previa and that I should be just fine as long as I keep doing nothing lol it made me feel better to know that she could come now and be okay just might have slight lung problems. So I'm just gonna stay relaxed and await my next apt on the 15th. Thanks for the positive imput!
Mine was really low @ 16 weeks they told me to watch for pain and spotting and not to have sex cause that could cause the placenta to start bleeding and open up then send you into labor or do harm.but they said that usually happens if you have sex or are penetrated in any way down there to put pressure on the placenta. So you should be fine just relax. Dont have sex. And wait they will get it sorted out good luck
Yea I could imagine it being a pretty worrisome topic... what time is your ultrasound tomorrow
My sister just had her son at 32 week's due to placenta previa and I was told if my placenta lowers any more I could get it and so far no pain other than her kicks and stuff but I'm so nervous all the time and constantly go to the bathroom just to make sure I'm not bleeding or anything. Thank you for the prayers! I don't want to worry my husband so this is my vent sorce you could say.
I never went through that, but I would be just as worried... just take deep breaths and try not to stress... ill pray for you and baby! Keep us updated
