Faint line on hpt got darker

So i took an hpt this morning with fmu, and got a really faint line. The line was definitely blue, but still hard to see. I figured it was an evap line so I didn't think much of it. After about an hour I looked again just for the heck of it and the faint line was way darker. Could this have been an evap line or a bfp?

I had a very faint line on my test, I am 20 weeks pregnant with twins!

no i dont think it's in your mind  leave it a couple more days and see what happens use the test that say you can use 4 days before you period is due.  and then if your still not satisfied ask your g.p for a blood test. good luck

I tested with fmu. I'm not really sure what to think at this point. I have a couple of "positive looking" tests but really faint lines and I was in the hospital early this month and the dr told me I was having a miscarriage without even testing me for pregnancy! I didnt want to believe him and I really didn't think I was pregnant. But I have been having weird symptoms, breasts sore and bigger, peeing constantly, and Severe Moodiness. Do you think this could be all in my head, it would be my first pregnancy.

If I remember, the clearblue digitals have a high readout. They measure something like 50-100 miU of hCG. It could be too early still if you're very early in pregnancy. Did you test with first morning urine? Or later in the day?

Took a digital Clearblue and sadly BFN. O well better luck next time I guess, thanks for your help!

The darker line was definitely an evap line.  I would wait and take another test in the morning but a line is a line.  :-)  Good luck!

Try a FRER, they are more expensive but if you are pregnant it will definitely show.  Good luck to you!

Thanks :) the faint blue line showed up within the time limit, but it got darker after the test dried. I am going to pick up more tests tomorrow, hopefully they will be more clear

You need to retest. Any line has to be discarded and ignored if you're reading it outside the stated time frame. I'd also suggest using a pink dye test vs a blue dye. Good luck
