Fair warning.

I was not told any of this so it really thro me off. Your newborn will eat almost 24/7 during a groth spurt. I was not told any of this and thought my milk supply was too low so I started feeding my son formula on top of brest feeding. Turns out I can't take my son off formula or he gets super cranky on days I try not to feed him any at all. Their first growth spurt is at 2 weeks and again at 6 weeks. I suggest you look into when they are and try to up it supply a week before. Cause its really hard during those weeks.

yes, i know what you mean, my son had a growth spurt and i was breastfeeding him every hour at 2 weeks. This is actually how you build up your milk supply, demand feeding. i just kept at it, even when i thought my breasts were so soft and empty that he possibly couldn't get anything.
