At 9 weeks your baby weighs approx 1/8th of an ounce and is only about an inch long... my guess would be its just gas your feeling... people forget that there is a lot going on besides the baby that can feel like flutters... increased gas, your uterus pushing up of everything(which can make you feel gas in a different way) uterine contractions, muscle spasms, or just the fact that you are now paying attention to anything and everything! Your baby is floating in fluid and is surrounded by a nice thick padding that is protecting the baby but also protects us mommas when baby really gets kicking(for the most part that is) if baby wasnt growing in the uterus then we would feel so much more during pregnancy and it wouldnt be pleasant!!
