Feeling crampy like AF

I'm mid-cycle but I feel like AF is going to start. SO WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!! Does it feel like that for anyone during ovulation or post-ovulation? I don't remember this in past cycles. Hopefully it's something GOOD (like... a baby?!) and not some Clomid side effect...

I know I've read tons of posts where women have said they feel crampy during ovulation times.  So the cramping you feel could possible be that!

As for feeling crampy and thinking AF is coming ...that's how I felt with my first pregnancy.  Hubby kept telling me 'you're pregnant' and I just kept blowing him off 'cause I was *sure* AF was coming with all the cramps I was having!!  But after 4-5 days of cramps and no period, I thought hubby might be right!!

Joy - I hope this is it for you!!  I have some mild cramps as well in my lower abdomen.  I get spells of nauseau now and then....but like we've all said before, not looking too far into it!!

I didn't read all of the responses, but I get AF type cramps sometimes during the approach and during ovulation.  Soooooo, sounds like Clomid is doing its job and that you may be approaching ovulation!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was pregnant with my son I was so shocked because I thought AF was coming due to the cramps, but it didnt show.  Good Luck!!!

am 13w2days now and i felt that way when i got pregnant..and i was 100% sure that i ovulated 2 days before ..and i felt that way for two weeks then i got those weird cramps: AF+something else..

IM PRETTY SURE I ovulated on 31st( bad cramping, sore bb's, and ovarian pain) and the feeling hasn't stopped since...DH keeps asking me why im hurting this way so hopefully this is it for all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joy~ When I ovulated I had period like cramping.. I only know the day I ovulated because of the cramping and the overnight sore bb's.

yes...period like cramps are fine during ovulation...i get crampy for a couple of hrs on day day of my ovulation

I sure hope it's something positive (no pun intended!). It's a different crampiness than I'm used to feeling. With PCOS you feel slight cramps all throughout your cycles, no matter where you are at (the cramping is caused by the cysts). But this cramping isn't just over my ovaries, it's in the middle. I feel swollen/bloated/full.

Since it's been a while since I probably ovulated this may just be ovulation discomfort (it's NOT painful--- just annoying). AHhhhhhhhhhhh... give me something to fill the time these next two weeks!!!

maybe it's implantation cramps!  that was my first sign that i was pregnant...  i usually get cramps the day before and day of af.  when i got pregnant, i felt menstruallike cramps about a week before!  good luck girl!  :-)

hopefully this is a good sign!  I felt crampy 4 dpo and I thought for sure it was too early to be implantation so I tried not to think about it and just stay positive without over analyzing  everything....BUT I hope both of us are crampy for a really good reason =)

so, originally i didnt want to bust ANY hopes, by saying clomid COULD casue af to come late, and bring on cramps at anytime....

BUUUUUT, if you guys are ALL experiencing this, it definitely sounds PROMISING!!!

also, an answer on the dr's forum over at the maternal and child forum, says that spotting could indicate PREGNANCY!!!

I remember when I found out I was pregnant I was SO shocked because I had been feeling cramps for almost two weeks so I was sure AF would come, but it never did!!!! YAY Joy...this could be it for youuuu! ;) I didn't really think about being pregnant until I was like 3 days late.. then I tested and got a faint BFP...I hope this is it for you girl! Its time for Joy to add to her broad!

Joy I feel the same way so maybe its a good thing too. I am about 2 or 3 DPO so maybe its our month. I am feeling the crampy feeling plus a little nauseous (sp?) so lets hope its that!!! :o) Hugs

I felt crampy after I o'd and was pregnant for about 1 week, like af was gonna start. Then nothing so i thought i wasn't pregnant, until AF was about 4 days late, then i started symptoms

Im cd 16 and feel crampy also, my cylce is not due until the 19th or 20th, i was just reading something about how ovulation pains can last 2weeks, from min to 48 hours at a time.  Im hoping some implantation is going on with me or something
