Feeling depressed these days.

I got this way when I got married too but this time it's a different depression. My father was killed when I was 13 years old. And it's really starting to get to me that my dad never got to see me grow up, graduate high school, start college, get married and now he isn't going to see me graduate college and now especially he isn't going to see his first grandchild born. It's really starting to get to me how much I miss my dad. Anyone else have a parent who passed when they were young? I don't care what anyone says it doesn't get easier to deal with. It just gets easier to try and put your feelings aside but when you can't put them aside any longer it builds up and is just worse.

Its hard I'm 19 my dad passed away about 2 years ago. I'm 30weeks pregnant I'm so depressed its hard to even get outta bed. My bf doesn't understand :/ it hurts to think he missed my hs graduation he didn't get to show me how to drive he's not going to be here when my son is born .... I know he would have been an amazing grandfather .... I do a pretty good job of not thinking about it but the last week or so has been the hardest. It ***** cuz there is nothing anyone can do or say to make it any easier

My dad passed away when I was 14. It doesn't ever get easier if anything it almost gets harder! But you just have to remember there is nothing you can do & try to focus on the ppl you do have in life now

So sorry for your loss i lost my dad when i was19 my first son was 2 months old and we were not speaking he saw him once be4 he died i wish i spent more time with him but theres nothing i can do now my son is 5 and i talk to him alot about my dad and tell him fun storys about him but it doesnt gey better just think about the good days you had with him and always pray for him ,good luck to u :-)
