Fetal Heart Rate 8 weeks 2 days

I had a vaginal ultrasound and I was 8 weeks and 2 days on the day of the ultrasound. The fetal heart rate was 135. Is that normal for 8 weeks? With my 2 older sons the heart rates were always up in the 160-170 range. I've been worried about that. Also according to the ultrasound tech the baby was 1.07 cm. Is that small for 8 weeks?

120-160 is considered a normal heart rate during pregnancy. Sometimes in early pregnancy at about 10+ weeks it gets a little higher than that but the usual is the 120-160. Also, I'm not sure about the size but if the doctor didn't seem worried I wouldn't be, If they measured the baby and its measuring with your dates than it is not small since all babies before 13 weeks develop at the same rate.

Average size at 8 weeks is about 1.6cm, so it sounds fine. As alaysha said about the heartbeat, they can have a wide norm, and that also sounds fine as well. It will likely pick up as your pregnancy gets farther along, and then will slow down again.

The heat beat is PERFECT.  Well within the normal range.  HB will fluctuate depending on a number of factors.

Thank you for your responses. They helped to ease my worries. I haven't had an appointment with my doctor since the ultrasound so I haven't had the opportunity to speak to him in regards to the size. I'm sure they would have let me know by now if something was wrong.
