Fetal Heart Rates
I am nearly 22 weeks pregnant and have a home doppler. Usually the heart rate is around 156 but today, it get registering at about 165. Everything I've read says normal at this stage is 120 to 160. The reason I'm a bit worried about the higher heart rate is because I have a really bad cold and I am worrying that it's stressing out the baby.
Is anything above 160 worrysome?

babies heart beat goes up and down all the time. maybe the baby was moving a lot just before you checked the hb

Where did you get that home doppler.. I am thinking it might be a good idea considering the test results that I can check it regularly .. that one at the baby store stinks!!

That sounds fine....Maybe the baby was more active than the previous reading that you got.....Anything can throw it off by that small amt. I wouldn't worry too much! Lots of luck.
