Fetal age or Gestational Age

Whenever your doctor does your early ultrasound, do they go by your fetal age or gestational age to get your due date? I was reading online that gestational age goes from your last LMP, and your fetal age is the actual estimated age of your fetus. And it kinda confuses me on which one the doctor goes by when they do the ultrasound.

I believe you posted something about this the other day! They go by your fetal age since you are so far along!

You will have to confirm with your doctor but I'm pretty sure they go by the gestational age.
