Fever 11 days after c section...help!

I started 8 days post c section having a low grade fever which has continued through today (day 11) running from 99.0 up to 100.8 at the highest. They did a urine culture on Friday and I called the hospital today and they told me the urine was normal.  I have called the nurses line at my doc office and am waiting on a call back but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I have chills and all over achiness along with the fever.

Are you breastfeeding by chance? It still sounds viral which is much better than an infection.

They did a repeat urine and I have a really nasty kidney infection. So problem solved! Thanks for your prayers!

The only symptom I have is the fever, when it occasionally breaks, I feel fine, that's not the flu.  I'm going to the doc this afternoon.

Oh man I never thought it could be related to my c-section too, I had one a month ago and last week three days in a row I felt really cold, I was shivering while my hunny was sweating his butt off because it was 89 degrees outside, its so weird, and my entire body aches, even have a migraine that won't go away, my aches and migraine are still present but not the coldness, on saturday it was so bad that I was freezing but was sweating, I checked my temperature but it was normal, I hope its not related to my surgery

Sounds like the flu. How does your wound look? Is it hot to the touch? Any discharge? If everything looks and feels normal, I'm placing my money on the flu. It's going around... Take some advil, cold medicine, and vitamin c. I've had 3 c sections, two in which I had infection in them.

It's their job to make sure you are healthy they can't get upset by you asking them to do their job. Obviously something is up because you have a fever. You arent faking so they can't get mad.

Well I called today and the nurse told me it was viral and didn't seem to be ob/gyn related.  This evening, my temp has repeatedly gone up to 101.7 and I have no other symptoms aside from weakness. Thoughts?

Have not experience this before, but whenever u have a fever and chills, that means u.might have some kind of infection.....moreover u just had a c-section, so its more likely.....dont just wait for ur nurse to call,if possible go to the nearest ER if ur not gettin any better....hope u feel better soon.
