Fibromyalgia meds and pregnant

I have had Fibromyalgia for 14 years. I am 26 years old and take alot of medication for the fibromyalgia (Lyrica, vicodin, soma, Elavil, calcium + vit D, & lidocaine patches) and last year I was diagnosed with Cyclic Vomitting putting me in the hospital twice this year. So I am on stomach meds as well(Protonix, Levbid & Zofran). I went to the ER last week for uncontrollable vomitting and dehyration. They did not test me to see if I was pregnant. I have been cramping for a couple weeks just waiting for my period to start I am almost a week late, so I took a pregnancy test, it is positive. I am a smoker too. I have an appt with the doctor tomorrow but I am so freaked out!!! Has anyone else been through anything like this? I am for sure not taking anything else and smokings done. Im just scared about what damamge I may have done. ugh cant even think about that. Thanks :)

to specify~ 1 350mg soma tablet will remove 200mcg of folic acid from your body/system. Folic acid is ESSENTIAL for preventing neural tube defects like spina bifida.

Get yourself started on prenatals. You can get both folic acid and prenatals at walmart or similar stores. Prenatals do come with folic acid, but most dr's like to give an extra 1mg tablet on top of that.

Kace~ I use some of those too, lidocain patches and norco (like vicoden)

soma is BAD during the first 3 months of pregnancy because it eats up the folic acid you take. You need to aim to take 3 MG. (not MCG) of folic acid which would be 3- 100mcg tablets.

within the first few weeks of pregnancy medications like that shouldn't have caused harm. You need to speak to your doctor, but I can tell you from personal experience that it is alright to take vicoden during pregnancy as long as your monitored by a doctor.

basically the meds you take, the benefits need to outweigh the risks.

You shouldn't just drop off your meds however, because that can cause withdrawal, and even stress your body to the point that you miscarry.  Call your doctor right away and ask for a referral to a high risk maternal fetal medicine specialist.

I assume you see pain management?   Speak to them as well, and ask them to help you to find a balance in the meds you take and your pain levels.  I'm 22 and my pain is from a preexisting back injury (I fell down the stairs just after I had my first son and hit my L5 area) and also some arthritis.
