First response pregnancy test confusion

I've taken too pregnancy tests in the past 2 days and both had one dark line followed by one faint line...could it be a false positive since it's so faint or should I assume I'm pregnant?

Congrats,
I did 2 tests the same day, the first one was a faint line, then the one in the evening was a tad darker. I then took a digital one(with the amount of week readout) just to be sure...lol I was in disbelief a tad bit...
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Took the 3rd test in the box today... I think it's safe to say I'm pregnant :) the second line was alot darker this time.

It sounds to me like you are pregnant.  The indicator line does not have to be dark to indicate a positive result.

Gina- I think FRER has to be read in 10 minutes.

Sounds like you are pregnant! Congratulations!!!

Generally positive is positive no matter how faint it is as long as you got that result during the time you are supposed to check the test.  If you left it and saw the faint line two hours later, I wouldn't assume you were pregnant.  But if it was in the three minute period or whatever, then you should assume you are pregnant.  You are much more likely to have a false negative than a false positive.

I would assume you are pregnant, test in a few days and see if the line is darker.
