Food cravings and adversions

My bf's mom cooked us dinner she made a dish with pork chops green beans baked in cream of mushroom soup. It was delicious. However I found myself eating all the greenbeans and only two or three bites of the pork chop. I usually love pork chops. It's not that I can't eat it I just find myself not choosing meat right now.

I have noticed over the last few weeks I have been eating less meat and a ton of fruits and veggies. I'm always eating! Veggies and dip or a piece of fruit is quick and easy to snack on. Plus it's good for you.

i cant stand meat this preg either....im enjoying my salads, fresh fruits and grapes...i have been dealing with pretty bad nausea since week 6 so i have been trying to avoid any food that doesnt sound appealing to me...every once in awhile i want a cheeseburger but that is as far as my meats go

i feel bad for my bf who loves to cook...i think he takes offense that im turned off to the food he cooks....

i know its early for most of us but ive heard that not eating meat and eating veggies and fruits indicates we are preg with girls...dont know if its true but we'll out soon enough

congrats to all

I remember just being like 6 weeks pregnant and I ate an egg and cheese omelet and nearly threw up.  I hated eggs to.

I'm right there with mami1323!! I craved carbs.. and i loved pizza. Meat, especially sausage, or ground beef, made me SO sick! I couldn't eat those things. Now with this pregnancy, I'm a little less picky when it comes to meat, it's raw veggies that I can't do, which I normally LOVE!!! I hate that I can't eat a salad right now!! :-(

I usually love meat but when I was pregnant, I couldn't stand it.  I craved carbs.  Pasta, bread, pizza, potato.  I couldn't even smell meat that's how bad it was.

I am soooo vegetarian with this baby.  That's actually my saying now b/c I have to literally force myself to eat some form of meat protein.  I can eat veggies and fruits, and even fish sometimes but chicken, pork, beef grosses me out for the most part.  Once I ate a good amount of prime rib and then some lamb on another ocassion so the baby is very picky and high maintenance at the same time. LOL    I feel your frustration and mine has NOT gotten better.  I've just tried to get protein different ways though.  Good luck honey.

I am just the opposite! Haha! I rarely eat meat normally, although I'm not a vegetarian. I just don't eat alot of it unless it's seafood or chicken, until I got pregnant! I crave hamburgers and have to have some sort of meat daily! It's weird!
