For already moms and babysitters serious, help!

hi, my daughter is 4 years old.. she's very excited for the new baby..no doubt about it..but since i started working, for some reason my daughter becomes very naughty when im not around.. she throws stuff at her nanny and screams at her.. she even told her nanny that she'll be a monster when she gets old.. but she becomes an angel when i come home and as if she didnt do anything bad when i left.. what am i supposed to do?? i need help..

Is she completely aware that a new baby is coming? Because my nephew regressed and became very badly behaved when his sister was born. Now his mum has another on the way he is starting to act the same. He throws things, bites and punches, he hits his sister and screams in his mum's face. When his sister was born he couldn't be left in the same room as her because he would throw things at her and scratch her face.
I hope you manage to get to the bottom of your daughter's behaviour before the New baby comes. Best of luck

Maybe if you try the toy thing first and see how she reacts with that I am sure once you start taking the toys away that she really enjoys playing with first she will realise that you are not joking and start behaving. good luck with it xx

hmm..i'll try that.. coz ive been trying to ask her to stand in a corner when i go home if she misbehaved while im gone..and gave her rewards if she was good.. but its been consistent that she'll misbehave and ends up standing in the corner.. as if she didnt hear what we just talked about the day before.. im scared.. she's super nice when im here..im getting scared for when the baby comes though she's excited about it..

Just set some down rules with her tell her if you get told that she has been misbehaving again that you will take away one of her toys and stick with it Everytime she misbehaves take a toy away each time and tell her until she can learn to behave when your not there she will get a toy back for each day she has been good. X

i tried doing that but she wont tell me anything.. she just gives me a canned response of "i'll behave next time, i wont do it again.." but would still do it when i leave for work..

I would check out the babysitter for one thong because that is not normal, especially if it is one you have had a while. It may also just be regression, wanting to get some attention from someone

She is just acting out because she is so used to having you around. Try having a little talk to her and ask her why she is behaving like that when your not around. X
