For any one who has had an etopic pregnancy
I had a tubal ligation almost 3 yrs ago I have had normal periods since right on time every month. Not this month though I was supposed to start the 3rd or 4th of this month and still have not started. I think I might be having some pregnancy symptoms but could be my imagination I am good for creating things in my mind sometimes. lol! I have taken 2 home hpts one one the 10th and one on the 16th both were neg. I was just curious if anyone who has had an etopic pregnancy if the pregnancy showed up on a hpt? I am very confused I have called 2 clinics in my county and at each one I had one person tell me it would not and they transferred me to another person who told me yes it would, so I thought I could ask some woman who have had an experiance with an etopic. Any responses would be very greatly appriciated. :)
today i think im having my first period after my etopic surgery on Oct21 on d 6th of nov my husband & i started having sex which he always ejaculate in me anyhu i don't kno wat tp think cuz at 1 point i though i was pregnant but this morning i started seeing blood....can anyone tell me wats gong on plzzzzzzzzz
Hi! I had an ectopic last year and iI have positive HTP's the whole time until they figured it out. I was also bleeding and had major cramping for 2 months until I had to have emergency surgery. Good luck to you!
I had an ectopic this past July. I had a positive hpt at 5 weeks I used clear blue. I had no pain except one sharp pain at the beginning of week 4 but no other pain until after surgery. At 7 weeks I had surgery, they said my tube was bulging but they were able to flush it out and save the tube. The best thing you could do is have a blood test done. Good luck to you.
When i had my eptopic,i got positive test at 3 weeks...i experienced pain on the right side,slight tummy cramps,and pain in my shoulder,i ended up passing this naturally,so still have my right tube,however it is blocked now.
That is the same thing they told me when they called me back they made it seem like they jusy cut a little peice out or somthing she said it was totally reversible,but when i asked if they could grow back on there own she said no but I know they can b/c I have read about woman it has happened to.
well the doctor called me back he said he just cut them what does that mean please if anyone knows repost i am waiting for my opp notes to be faxed .
What preg test did you use? I used acuclear at a week late and the dollar general brand at almost 2 weeks late. Both were negative. I just called the doc who did my tubal to find out what kind of tubal it was they are supposed to call me back. I think the kind of tubal that was done plays a role in your chances of getting pregnant.
I got a positive early, at 4 weeks. I had some pain on my left side (thats the side where it was) I went to the doctor and had a transvaginal u/s done and they could see it and I had to get surgery. I also had very minimal pregnancy symptoms also.
hello ohio9200 i a tual ligation about three years ago too and have not had a period this month either i spotted in sept and august i have taken 3 hpt and all negative i am having all the prego symptoms i had with my first two even stranger ,normally with my periods i get bad acne on my chin and neck but this month even with the symptoms my face is very clear no acne not even my monthly bump its real strange ,i too i heard that eptopic prego sometimes doesnt show up on hpts , i also heard from one lady that it is hard to detect positive urine when ur tubes have been tied . dont know what to believe i am calling te doc who did my tubal today to find out what kind of tubal he did it was just be nice to know if a reversal is even possible. im sorry im not much help . good luck
I figure I would be about 6 and 1/2 weeks right now if indeed preg. and if etopic I think I would be in some pain.
How far along were you when you got a pos. and were you guys in any pain? Thanks for you responses :)
Hi i also had an eptopic in nov 06,my hpt also shown up positive...most Dr's and nurses havent a clue what they are talking about.
