Full term pains.

So I woke up only 2 hours after going to bed with really bad cramping pains. It didnt come and go, just steady pain. I was in tears with how much pain there was. I went on my hands and knees and swayed my hips back and fourth and this helped enough for me to be able to go back to sleep. 3 hours later, I woke up with the same thing. And again 2 hours later when I woke up, had the same thing. I had to pee all 3 times when I had this pain but peeing didnt make it go away. I am 37 weeks... any idea what could be causing these pains that dont seem to be contractions but I dont really know as this is my first pregnancy.

Well if there is no Definate start and stop to these pains, they are not "contractions" take a nice warm bath, or do a couple streches.....

Where abouts are the pains ? if it cramping pains it could be contractions it could be braxton hicks (fake contractions) i have been getting them i am 32 weeks although i must say not as intense as you are saying your's are if you are in that much pain and brought to tears i would go to the docs / hospital just to be sure, i got the same advice of people when i started to get them if they get very painfull or regular then go to hospital, you are 37 weeks so baby is almost full term my midwife said baby can come anytime from 37 weeks and this is classed as a normal birth !! good luck !
