It could still be a while, I was 100% effaced and 3 cm dialated with my youngest son, and stayed that way for 3 weeks until I finally went into labor. It all depends on when baby is ready, he will give the go ahead when the time is right.

Goodluck, and try to cook him a bit longer :)

wow girl, that's great...although not great if you are still early.  how far along are you?  i have an internal tomorrow and hope for some dialation and effacement!  although, i really would like to wait off one more week before the baby comes...  my friend was 2cm dialated for just over a month.  as mami said, you could have time, or, you could go tomorrow.  this waiting period is a little tricky...you just never know.  part of me would like to know when she is coming, but at the same time, it's probably best i don't know because that way i won't worry or obsess over it as much!!

good luck to you!

You could be dilated for a while until your baby comes.  I was about 1 1/2 cm dilated and 50% effaced for 3 weeks before I had to be induced.  It could be a while but it could be tomorrow.  You are only 32 weeks so you will probably hope it will be a lot longer.
