They did the 3D scan to measure everything. I agree with the post not to listen to what could be wrong, and my genetics counselor told me the same thing. We were told everything was perfect with our daughter and the papers we got said she may have had problems so I called them and the doctor said its nothing to worry about and just let nature take its course
This is my first pregnancy, so its all a little overwhelming. I hope I get another utrasound tomorrow (and nothing be wrong) I love seeing he/she.
ive had to see one with my 2nd pregnancy. trisomy 18 showed with a 1 in 13 chance of my daughter having it. i had 3D & 4D ultrasounds done. she didnt have it. dont worry to much girl. stay positive ! :) everything will be fine.
Im sure your baby will be absolutely perfect ! No worries (:
The form of muscular dystrophy is rare, but not as harmful as other forms. I know I'll love my little peanut no matter what :)
Why did they do the 3D scan? Do most people get them?
Pleaseeeee do not listen to what doctors tell you when they go on && on about how this could be wrong or that could be wrong with your baby . I know soooo many people that were told their kids would never walk or that they definitely had down syndrome && all of those kids are fine . Dont stress yourself , you will love your baby reguardless of a disorder so dont pay attention . All it does is scare you . There is no way for anyone to know for sure that something is wrong until the day your baby comes . Thats just my advice (:
When I went to one, they got my family history and my husbands family history, explained to us what genes cause what and what tests can be done then gave us a 3D ultrasound. We got the results and a summary a week later in the mail.
