Getting sick!

Chicago's bipolar weather has kicked in went from hot to cold very quickly so now I'm sick...is there anything I can take?

Did anybody get their flu shot? I did. Doctor didn't want to impose but she imposed lol. Do you ladies plan on getting your flu shots? Why or why not?
I'm a swimming instructor, work with kids ages 2-13. But I'm looking for something less physically demanding.

I love going to have food in different communities. Each had their own flare on dishes. Like I'm half Indian and there's Little India less than a block away from me and o.m.g all I smell is Indian food and all I want to eat is Indian food lol.
...Don't know how this post became about food lol. Maybe I'm hungry. I want a burger.
And yeah Summer it is crazy how close we are in proximity. I got hot in the car today, and then traffic was crazy. I met my mom at her job, she is an early childhood education teacher and she wanted to show me where the baby will be once they're born and old enough to go to school. Heat and traffic don't mix well for me lol.

But just had a cold last week i drank mint tea and ate Ricola extra strength cough drops  with Natural menthol Glacier mint flavored and cleared me up in two days :)

So crazy how were all relatively less than an hour away on a good day. Talking about the weather ... Am i the only one who thinks its hot out today?? I wad sweating! Btw any1 bought nursing bras yet? I know its early for me at 3 months but im pushing DDD and was told my nurse practitioner they are really great for extra support

Chefblu me too! I remember walking my puppster one day in shorts and the next I'm shivering wearing hoodies with the heat on lol. When are you due? I totally meant to say I'm due February 20th, the middle of winter. I read this article predicting the winter for our states like Ohio,Illinois,Wisconsin,Michigan,Indiana and it said we should stock up on food now because the snow will be that bad and it'll go well into March and April.

Summer yeah me too, petite so my clothes were "haaa you can't us anymore" . And the clothes I do buy like pants have to be cut because the legs are too long lol. I HATE driving in the snow. It's literally the worst thing ever. For new year my finacee's family had dinner at his uncle's house who lives deep south side... or maybe it was Calumet Park... pregnancy brain lol. But yeah it was snow storming bad. I drove down the street and almost hit another car I was like forget this and made him drive. It's odd because I'm born and raised in the city but still can't handle driving in the snow. Not to mention I have a Ford Focus,super light car.

Tcconeja back of the yards,huh? I've never been but there's this class I took an anthropology with an emphasis on Latin culture and we had to get into groups and study Latino communities in Chicago from culture to food. And the Back Of The Yards group bought food from this restaurant there and omg it was amazing like I've never had Mexican food that great in my entire life lol and I have a lot of Latino friends whose moms spoil me because they think I'm Latina and I'm pregnant and it was on the level of straight up home cooked meal!

I am in ohio and our weather has been the same as yours. One day I was in shorts at my boyfriends soccer game and before I knew it I was digging up my sweaters. I have a little cold but if its this cold now I can only imagine what this.winter is going to be like :(

Lol im already wearing maternity pants too but its so hard to find a good pair because im petite ... I have to get it ALL tailored. Gosh this Winter will be brutal ... I just hope there arent many accidents from the snow :(

They bleeped out '*****' in my last post... how is that a curse word? Lol but yeah this winter for the Midwest is going to be horrible. I mean last year wasn't that bad with snow, we just had really horribly cold temperatures. But this winter is going to be super cold with record snow fall.
Summer I'm going to send you a private message with all that lol. And any of you other ladies too we can add each other on Facebook if you guys are comfortable with that :)
And no you're not lame lol I started showing at around 9 weeks. Had to start wearing maternity clothes a little early because my pants started to hurt my tummy lol

I meant pregnancy not lieutenant lmaoo. Nisha where do you stay? I have my first ultra sound october 6th im so excited. Im already 12 weeks, waited so long for ultrasound bc first dr was horrible. Anyone showing already, i am. I really want to take maternity pictures since its my first am i lame? Lol

I think something is going around that kind of mimics a sinus infection and allergies. Everyone seems to have killer ear infections as well. One good thing about a wisconsin winter is that everything dies. This is only my second winter up north and I hear it's going to be worse than last year.

Everybody in your household is sick? That *****! You're in Wisconsin? Oh my, I bet it's beautiful around this time of year! I have family in Antioch, close to the Illinois-Wisconsin border and fall by them is gorgeous! I don't usually every get sick. Maybe the occasional cold but never anything serious, thank God. I haven't gotten a flu shot in years but my doctor recommended it and since this is the first pregnancy I got it.

Man everybody's under 20 weeks and knows what they're having. I have to wait for God knows how many more weeks. I'm 18 weeks and every time I think I'm going to find out I end up being told I have to do other things first or I have to wait until I'm at a certain weeks!

I'm due march 4th....16+5...find out what I'm having thursday...soooo excited...this is my 4th child..praying for a girl...i have 3big boys...17,16,11...i will be delivering at mercy hospital again..

Wow so summer we must be in the relatively same area! I've never been to Evanston, I'm closer to St. Francis but I wouldn't for the life of me have my baby there. HATE that hospital. I don't know what I'm having yet, my doctor wants me to wait until I'm 20 weeks but I'm impatient. I go shopping and buying unisex clothes is tough!
