I like Olivia...it just sounds more sophisticated.  Alice makes me think of the waitress on that old show "Mel's Diner"

olivia def!! even though they are both sophisticated names alice sounds more like an old lady name... sorry i dont mean to be mean or disrespectful just my opinion...

I think Olivia is a beautiful name. I could just be saying that because I named my daughter Olivia Grace.. but around here its not a name you hear very often and we have gotten a lot of compliments on picking such a sophisticated name. Don't let others decide for you.. its your daughter go with whatever one you fall in love with.

Is it bad that I like Alice because I love Twilight?
Is it worse that Influenced my best friend to name her daughter Isabella because of the afore mentioned love for twilight... don't judge lol.

I actually like both names so this one is a hard choice if i had to choose think id go with Olivia though it has a certain "cuteness" I do agree with Ange29 though i prefer it spelt Alivia...

I say Alice, only because everyone is being named Olivia right now. It's one of the most popular names, I know of 3 young babies named Olivia.
