I know I asked this about a month ago, but I had forgot something haha. So do I stop eating and drinking the night before? I know water is fine, just like regular foods and stuff. I don't wanna have to retake it just because I are at 2am and my appointment is at 845.

I was told no super sugary foods or drinks day of. Just a simple egg and toast so you dont pass out.

I went on tuesday for mine and fasted anyways because I wasn't sure but the lab tech said I didn't need to.

Thanks! It's my first one and I've never had problems with my blood sugars so far this entire pregnancy and even before. I eat a relatively healthy diet so hopefully that helps. Ill just drink water from midnight on just to be safe.

For my firat one they told me to eat normally until two hours before my appointment. But I had mine done at 2:45pm. Lol. And I could drink as much water as I wanted. And pee as much as I wanted. For some reason they made that really clear. Almost like a hint. Lol idk but if its the second one, that one is fasting. I had that one at 8:00am and they told me to stop eating at midnight. But again the water and peeinf was the same. They haven't called yet so I'm hoping that's good news. :) good luck on ur test!! I hope u pass with flying colors :)

I was told not to eat after 12am and wasn't even allowed water! Over here they changed it to where you have the 2 hr one right away and if u fail you don't retake it. I brought my cousin with me to keep me company since she just took hers like 2 months before me and at the same place. I was dying of thirst so she made me drink some water and said she didn't have to fast at all. Anyway I passed my test but found out in anemic ;( sorry it was so long Lol!

Oh ok. I don't eat at that time anyways. I'm usually still asleep. Just wanted to double check. First time mom jitters I suppose lol.

My Dr didn't mention not eating anything before the appt so I just ate like normal. I think if your Dr didn't tell you to fast then you shouldn't worry about it
