Gosh if life couldn't get any freaking harder on me....

Alright, so I went to my doctors appointment this morning.  And I was asking questions about this pain I keep having above my belly button.  Now a few weeks ago the nurse said..."Round ligament pain" and when I asked why I didn't feel it with my other kids, she simply told me I was old.  Not even kidding you!  LOL...That's funny considering this is the 3rd pregnancy in 3 years.  Sheesh

Anywho, so I tell him that 4 days ago this pain picked up and hasn't let out.  I can't lift my kids very well, if at all.  My stomach hurts when it touches a pillow.  I can barely walk, and can't sit up straight!  So I told him what that nurse said, and then told him or asked if it could be scar tissue fromt he 3 belly button rings I had, but they all healed perfectly.  So we ruled that out.  So he is feeling this, and he is really super concerned...  HERE IS WHY!!!

"It feels like a hernia, but I can not tell you where it's attached too...."  Great!  So here is the bigger concern!  He calls a surgeon and tells him i'm pregnant and tells him about all my pain, and he said schedule her for surgery TOMORROW!   So they scheduled it.  I go in today for a u/s, mri or ct scan not sure which one, to check this out!  Depends on where it's attached too, say my uterus, surgery tomorrow.  My intestines surgery tomorrow, spleen, surgery tomorrow and spleen would come out.  If it's anywhere else I have to live in pain through out the rest of my pregnant and that will make 3 surgeries immediately following delivery of my baby!  Yay for me huh!?

And they wont let me go past March 1.....if this surgery isn't needed immediately.  

So then i'm crying the entire way home, thinking why does all this cr ap have to happen to me?  Especially while pregnant?  

I am just feeling like everything bad has to happen to me, apparently I have a big sticker on my forehead that says, "ALL BADS THINGS COME HERE!"

I know I can overcome this and deal with it, but my god.....

oh by the way, baby is perfect!  =)

Ash ~ Oh, what a stressful pregnancy this has been for you!!  *super big hugs*  I hope everything goes well with your surgery today and that you're home recuperating asap!

Jame0223 -  They said as long as I'm not doing to much bending over i should be find, i was told by my doc this morning that i'll want to keep standing as much as possible!  and yeah I get to come home today.  I'm a bit more worried about going into labor in the next week or so.  blah...this su cks!

Good luck today! I had surgery about 3 months ago to remove a cyst on my ovary. I had a 2 weeks recovery and trust me...since your still going to cook tomorrow, try not to do anything else...you'll be in pain still...You probably won't even want to cook tomorrow lol. Its going to hurt hun! I didn't even get released from the hospital until the day after surgery but since you get to go home today...(im assuming) you may not have it as bad as I did! lol I cried the first time I tried to sit on a toilet it hurt so bad to bend! Do as little as possible... If you have lots of people coming over, rope them into doing a lot! hah good luck today hun!

Katebud -  That nurse, is the oldest nurse in the office, and when I had told my doctor he kind of laughed and said he was very sorry!  She is kind of wacky and out of it.  He did go on to tell me she didn't even put it in my file, but was really glad I asked about it!  =)


I really hope it goes smoothly too, I am so hungry and thirsty, i can't believe they make me not eat, how can they do this to a pregnant lady!  LOL....  They should have said I could eat at uh 4 am.  I would have eaten then, but no, it was midnight.  ugh, i have to make my kids breakfast, and watch them eat....unfair!!!!!  lol  <sorry just ranting, i'm really hungry can you tell?  lol

Nice of that nurse to check you out completly, huh?  :P  That always makes me mad whenever concerns are brushed off and it ends up being potentially very serious.  

I am just glad that you are ok and so is your baby.  :)

Gosh I had to worst night to go into this surgery!  Now I can't drink anything or eat...And I'm starving and thirsty!  go figure!  Yesterday they were really messing with this thing, well my ob/gyn was.

I finally fell asleep last night at 10 pm, I was so tired...And at midnight woke up in so much pain, I made hubby make me a bath, cause I could barely move.  Plus needed to take advantage to the tub since I wont beable allowed a bath for 2 weeks, just short showers.  

40 minutes in the tub and finally got the pain down enough so I could move on my own.  Came out in my living room and laid on my couch.  So 3:15 am rolls around and hubby left for work, told me to go and lay in the bed, he made is extra coushy...loaded extra blankets and pillow, and i fell asleep an hour later.  

Now i'm just suffering.  I called my doctor and told him about all the pain, and he said, he really was barely pushing on it, lol and the things are now doesn't think I would have made it to Friday...

So I checked in at 12:30 pm pacific time, (7:12 am right now) Sugery at 2:30 pm and should be out by 5 pm.  I'll try to jump on here and update everyone to my best.  May be small quick and to the point, but i'll likely be out of it, so it may make no sense too lol..

You POOR thing! I don't even know what to say. I think you are handling all this cr ap quite well.. I would have gone to absolute pieces.. I am not good under stress.. I hope the surgey goes well and wish you a quick recovery.. And I am glad Dolcie is doing well.. Hopefully this surgery will be successful and that will be the end of the bad luck streak! I hope so!!

I wish there was more I could say/do..

I am so sorry that you are going through this!  I know it may seem like alot all at once, but just remember that God won't put anything on you that you can't handle!  It will only make you stronger!  (I know easier said than done)  My prayers are with you!

hahaha My ob/gyn just called me lmao... To go over a few things for tomorrow, and he is so funny.

He says...

"So I thought I would tell you, that you can still cook on Thursday, just can't lift the turkies!"  ahahaha   what a funny man!!!

I am however still cooking, but hubby is putting the turkies in the oven, and pulling them out.  I wont be able to bend over, so he is doing that, and lifting!

I wont beable to lift more than 5 lbs for 3 weeks.  Eeeeek!

they said there is a small chance it'll make me go into labor, but there going to do everything they can to prevent it.  If something does go wrong, they will put me on magnesium sulfate, and hospitalize me, to do everything to prevent it.  If absolutely need be, they will let me deliver.  Obviously if my water breaks, there is no way to stop it.

Wow.  Would there be any reason that they will have to deliver then?  If something goes wrong would they?  How far along are you?

Oh also, I get to be sedated instead of put under, so less risk to baby!  But I will be hooked up to the monitors for baby and then me, and I'll have wires, and tubes going everywhere lol...  forgot that...
