My nausea got so bad I couldn't even really drink anything without the thought I was going to get sick.. my doctor prescribed me Zofran and Phenergan last week... I just started taking it yesterday (Phenergan) and I have been able to eat twice today without a problem. It really helped me.

After the early part of this pregnancy, I swear by ginger! It doesn't matter if it's fresh ginger brewed as a tea, or ginger candies/ale as long as it contains a substantial amount of real ginger (brands like Reed's - you might have to go to a health food store to find their products). The other thing that helped me considerably was eating mostly cold food since it smells less. Good luck!

No problem I was like that when I was 8wks...even the smell of my hubby's deodorant made me nauseous. Its like I hit end of 8wks and start of 9wks and the throwing up hit and hard! The Med they gave me is zofran! Really good!

Thank you so much for the advice. I haven't vomited hopefully I wont but the nausea feeling is getting stronger each day. Everything my husband cooks makes me sick. I have an appointment Friday I will definitely talk to my doc about it. Thanks again!

There's several thing you can try...eating smaller meals but more frequently.....crackers and warm 7 up...I have used fresh baked Italian bread from a bakery(that was when I was 5wks)....but if you try everything and still no relief talk to your doctor about a nausea Med. I know I really did not want to take meds while pregnant but I couldn't keep nothing down let alone attempt to eat with an upset stomach! After being on the nausea Med I wouldn't think twice about no meds! I would be lost with out it!
