Hair dye during pregnacy

So im almost 5 months next week. Was wondering have any of u color ur hair during pregnacy? Dr said its not bad just have to be in a ventilated place. Have any of u done it

Its safe aslong as u wait till your second trimester and I sit outside and have my sister do it for me I was told by my doctor to avoid any shades of blond because it has ammonia in it but all other colors are safe.  I'm 23 weeks and I've dyed my hair 4 or 5 Times

Yep it's perfectly safe. I'm 18.5 weeks just had my hair done. Dr said it's safe as long as there's air around to get rid of the smell etc not closed up room. Bleach hair is definitely a no no from what I was told

my doctor recommended a hair dye that is plant based, I have 2 hairstylists in my fam their salons did not carry this product but she did say they personally carried color chromatics from redken which is oil based... no ammonia, so it is a good option if you're concerned :)

I dyed my hair repeatedly when i was pregnant with my first son, and have done a handful of times this pregnancy, as long the room or area is well ventilated your fine.

It's fine. I got a booklet from my doctor office and it said its ok.  There aren't enough chemicals in it to do any harm.  Just be in a well ventilated area.  I dye my hair.  I just dyed it two days ago.

There are harmful chemicals that's why. Not like we said not to do it, plus her doctor gave her the okay.

I getting some bleach in mine with peekaboos nervous! But its your choice if doctor okayed it :) I don't get why girls act like your doing drugs all dramatic. High five to them lol

Im 35 weeks im thinking of dying mines before I go into labor. Im kinda scared too. I been having my hairdye that I bought for 2 months and im still too chicken.

I've been bleaching my hair for years and still jot stopped doing it. My midwife said that there is nothing wrong and it wont harm my baby. Just to make sure i was in a ventilated area.

I am 7 months and proud to say I havent dyed my hair at all throughout my pregnancy! :) Its much healthier for your little one if you dont.

The most I've done was highlights, only cause I've read an so you shouldnt dye your whole head, something to do with the chemicals in the hair dye, plus youre breathing in all those fumes. Bur I guess some moms do it, but if your doctor gave you the okay then I don't see why not.

I got my hair done 2 or 3x while I was pregnant. My daughter is perfectly fine :)
