Thanks guys I thought that was the case. I'm so angry with that nurse she really stressed me out. I'm going in tomorrow for another u/s and I'm going to mention it to the ob. At the same time my husband is harassing me about going to california at the end of June and I will be about 33 weeks by then. Since I went into preterm labor with my son at 19 weeks and it lasted until 34 weeks I don't want to risk flying at all later in pregnancy. He thinks I'm being paranoid.
I should tell him to just buy the ticket, but if the dr says I can't fly then he can't go either.
I flew at 7 weeks and my doctor said it was completely fine and safe. Unless your high risk its fine. They say not to fly after 35 weeks.
I flew at 6 weeks with no problem. They usually don't recommend flying later in pregnancy in case you give birth on a plane the flight attendants don't have training for it but not because of complicating your pregnancy.
I flew 12 hours at 10 weeks and everyting went fine ,my Dr said it was ok.
Before 12 weeks isnt a problem,I flew from uk to florida I was only 5 weeks at the time, doctors said it was fine.
Your fine...I flew with my daughter at 8 weeks and everything went well. Have fun!
I have a high risk Dr. an they told me not to fly after 20 weeks. The pressure can cause premature labor. Anita
i havent, i flu from canada to the uk at 6 weeks and back at 8 weeks. my doctor said it was totally fine. he said they dont recommend flying after 36 weeks.
