Hcg levels rising not doubling

I am or should be 5 weeks 3 days today. I have had two missed miscarriages in three years. I have been cramping some and had a small amount of spotting earlier this week. My doctor advised me to go in monday so I went in at 3;00 pm at 5 weeks 1 day and Hcg levels were 3941 and also got my progesterone levels back and those came back excelent but didnt get the level over the phone. My doctor wanted me to go back in wednesday 5 weeks 3 days to see if the numbers are doubling I ended up going in during the morning less than 48 hours (43 hours). Well they deff. rose but didnt double....the number was 5400. I am going in Friday 5 weeks 5 days to see if they have risen even more. a bit concerned for this pregnancy but trying to relax as much as possible. Any advise or opinions greatly appreciated!

Im sorry ur having problems....but ur numbers just may be slow rising or ur dates of conception or first day of last period may be off?? I had an u/s on Monday my last period was oct.31st It showed fetal pole yolk sac and gestational sac. I measured 6 weeks 1 days which is right one with my calculations of time of ovulation last month. The heartrate measured 108 bpm. My doctor said she is feeling optomistic but she really doesnt like seeing any women cramp and spot in the 1st trimester, but with my history of missed miscarriages she wants a follow up u/s in two weeks. We really should know the outcome of the pregnancy by then since my previous pregnancys always showed no heart rate by 8 weeks. We are praying hard for this little one. I will also be praying for u and hope u get answers really soon!

i am in the same situation now i wnet for a scan today and a sac shown measuring 5 to 5 and a half weeks , no yolk no fetus pole either,

i have had 4 lots of HCG BLOOD WORK done

i had my postive preg test on 3 december also had a scan that day , nothing was seen,
i had a blood test too HCG 110

had another blood test on 5th HCG 373

my 3rd blood test was on the 7th HCG in the 800's i was informed

then i had a scan today and a blood test the sac was seen today which was 2 weeks after the first scan and my blood test HCG was 2500 :(:(

im going out my mind!!

any news on yours ????

i have to go back sunday to have another blood test!!!!

Well got my results for this mornings hcg levels and they went from 5400 on wednesday to 11,450 today! deff. are rising now

Deff. relaxing as much as possible right now...Its easier said then done soemtimes, but oh how I want this soo badly! I will deff. let u kno the results.

I wouldn't worry just yet. I think the doubling range is 48-72 hours at this stage so just relax and please report back on your results! Good Luck!
