Head Cold During Pregnancy HELP!

Okay ladies...I have had an awful head cold for days now. The list of medicines to take from my doc only lists sudafed as being safe to take. I only take it in the AM and PM before bed. However, its not doing the trick. I have a lot of pressure in my nasal passages and am finding it very hard to sleep as I am all stuffed up.

Any suggestions?? I am 19 weeks pregnant if that info makes a difference.

Thanks in advance,

Steph

I was told that nasal sprays are ok too a saline spray might really help relieve some of that pressure???, and benadryl, and tylenol cold.
Hope you feel better soon!

Unfortunately almost every medication that is considered "safe" during pregnancy is Class C and most of the time all you can do is suffer through it. I would try some other methods of relieving your symptoms:

-Neti pot
-Humidifier
-Vicks Vapor Rub
-Warm tea
