Headaches

So I am now 8 weeks and been getting the normal symptoms of pregnancy, but my problem is the massive headaches.  I know I can't take aspirin and any OTC but my headaches are getting worse.  I've tried cold compress on my neck, resting in complete silence and darkness, and drinking lots of water but nothing is working.  Any suggestions?

If you used to drink a lot of caffeine and stopped that can cause them too.

I got bad headaches in my first trimester thanks to those hormones and I'd take Tylenol and have half a can of regular Coca Cola and the sugar and caffeine helped. My OB recommended it

You can take tylenol just regular strength in your first trimester.  I had the same issue and the doctor told me that this was fine.  The headaches are due to the HCG hormones doubling every few days to support the pregnancy.  Also, I know I had low blood pressure during my first trimester as well which can also cause headaches.  Hope you feel better!
