Heartburn!!!

I'm 18 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. All my symptoms are pretty normal and bearable  but this heartburn is starting to be unbearable! Is there anything somebody can suggest to help me out?

To any Pregnant woman who gets a lot of heartburn or a lil restless an uncomfortable specially at night.... Try to take a Magnesium supplement if you don't wanna take to many tums an over the counter medicines. I am 29 Weeks and get a little uncomfortable at night this is my first pregnancy an i don't like taking any over the counter things, I'd rather go all natural... So I got this stuff called CALM.... it's a natural Magnesium supplement and work's great for me!

Baking soda mixed with water. Doesn't taste great, but my grandma said it was the only thing that helped her. I have only had to try it once, but it worked really well. Good luck!

You can take Tums, just don't take more than 8 a day because you could get kidney stones. Acid floats, so if you drink a lot of water you might get it worse so try milk.
Fun old wives tale, heartburn supposed to mean your baby will have a lot of hair. I know it's not always the case, but it sure was with me. My boy was born needing a hair cut.
Good luck ladies.

I will be 18 weeks Saturday and I just started getting heartburn like a week ago and it has gotten really bad. I believe you can take tums but might want to check with your doc before.
