Heartless?

So I'm nineteen weeks plus with a baby girl. We just found out it was a girl yesterday. I noticed that I don't cry at my ultrasounds, I always hear about women crying when they hear the heartbeat or see the baby but I didn't. Am I heartless?

I don't cry. I did at the very first one but since then I haven't. I don't think you're heartless. It's normal to be rational.

No it doesn't make you heartless at all. I didn't cry but I was just excited. lol

Not at all! I'm not an emotional person either. If I had t miscarried my first, I wouldn't have cried eithet. After losing one it really makes you think about what you lost. I cried out of happiness and as a sigh of relief that everything is going well this time around :)

Yeah, I get excited and I laugh a little but only because my girl is lazy lol

I didn't cry. My fiance jokes around that I'm heartless because I'm not extremely emotional or extremely affectionate. I was excited at my ultrasound just because I got to see him move around, but I didn't cry and haven't cried since.

No not at all. I cried at my first ultrasound with my first baby. But that was it. Only because it was surreal to me at the time.

I cry with my first baby when I heard the heartbeat......
It was beautiful......  :,),,,,
Second no more tears
Third cried again (no hearth beat)
Forth did not hear the heart beat only saw it in the ultrasound.....why? I don't know
I was just glad he had a heartbeat....  :)
Not till 23w & 3d
but that late in my pregnancy wasn't as special anymore
(My dr loves ultrasound) :(

With my son I don't remember crying at everyone just my first. Then we had 3 miscarriages and with my current pregnancy I'm 37 weeks and get monthly ultrasounds and cry every time. Even when they only use the Doppler I get emotional. I'm not usually emotional but with hormones and everything we've been through its hard not to.

I cry when I run outa pickles lol, but not at ultrasounds. I do a lot of smiling, I think she's the best thing ever...but never a tear. I don't think there are really right or wrong emotions when it comes to pregnancy and our hormones.

I am not one who cries often. I am also not one who cries when it comes to happy stuff I smile instead. I have never cried at an U/S, I am happy and smiling and love seeing her move and hearing the H/B but I dont cry. I think if someone called me heartless they would be very inaccurate :)

No way. The first time I cried with my daughter was when she was born. However, I've since miscarried, so seeing my current baby in an ultrasound waving his/her little arm, I bawled like a baby.

My mom cried but my husband and I were so nervous because of all the complications we are having. I felt weird as well. Thanks for posting this.

I didn't cry when I had my son.... Maybe I was too drugged cuz everyone else was crying. I've also never cried at any ultrasound except when I had a miscarriage last year.
