Heavy Implantation Bleeding?

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant for the first time. I am 29 years old and have had a consistent 32 day cycle for the last 3 months. Yesterday, I would have been 8 days past ovulation and in the morning I had a light brown discharge when I wiped. I figured it was implantation bleeding and got very excited, but as the day progressed, the discharge began to resemble blood.  This morning, I woke up and I am a still bleeding.  The bleeding is light enough, that I can get by with a panty liner, but it is more blood than what I have read is "normal implantation bleeding"  I do not expect my period for 5 days.  Does anyone know if I could be pregnant, or could I be having a miscarriage?

Implantation bleeding wouldn't start yet if you had only conceived 8 days ago:( you could be having an early period or a very early miscarriage. I had implantation bleeding with my first son and it was very red but didn't last more than a few wipes. Try not to get discouraged and good luck!

Implantation bleeding would be so light that it's barely noticeable. If you're still bleeding, and needing the use of feminine products then it would suggest it's not implantation bleeding. You could still be pregnant though, you never know, and it's possible to have light bleeding in early pregnancy. Not everyone gets implantation bleeding anyway so all you can is wait to see what the bleeding does - if it gets heavier it's most likely your period has come early, and if it stops then wait till your period is actually due and test then.
